大寒（だいかん）とは　What is the 「Daikan」？

大寒は二十四節気の最終節で、一年でもっとも寒い時期と言う意味です。

ここ十勝はさすがに寒いです。

基本的に冬の最高気温はプラス気温にはならず、最高気温がマイナスです。それも最高気温がマイナスの二桁になることもあり、最低気温はマイナス20度を超えることも、本当凍れます。

でも、最近の住宅は二重窓以上で断熱性がいいので、家の中は快適ですよ。

「Daikan」is the last of the twenty-four seasons, and it means the coldest season of the year.
